Hardwick Heads ‘Blessing Bag’ Drive to help Homeless

The Shop of Pleasant View owner, alderman, and philanthropist Heather Hardwick is focusing her annual holiday charity efforts to help the homeless and others in need.

Now through December 22, she will be collecting “Blessing Bags” that contain items like non-perishable food, socks, hats, gloves, hand warmers, travel-size toiletries, hot hands, and a few dollar bills. All items must be put inside a large Ziplock bag to make distribution easy and to protect the items from the elements.

Hardwick, alongside co-workers, friends, and family, will be personally delivering the bags to those in need on December 22.

Bags can be dropped off during the salon’s regular business hours or left on the porch at any time. For more information, please call 615-944-1575.
