Pleasant View Municipal Judge Gregory D. Smith was elected President of the Tennessee Municipal Judges Conference during the conference's annual meeting held on November 16. Judge Smith, Pleasant View's judge since 1997 and author of the 2014 Tennessee Municipal Judges Benchbook, will serve a two year term as president.
“It is an honor to be entrusted by my peers to lead the Tennessee’s municipal judges, but I consider serving the citizens of Pleasant View for the last two decades a greater honor," says Judge Smith who was named Municipal Judge of the year in 2017.
