Several Cheatham County veterans served as pallbearers for Leo Stokley, 69, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps who served a tour of duty in Vietnam.
Stokely was buried with military honors at the Middle Tennesse Veterans Cemetery in Pegram Nov. 9, 2018. Stokely passed away Nov. 4, 2018 at The Waters of Cheatham.
This Marine had no family and was considered "unclaimed," however, dozens of concerned citizens and service members attended his service to honor his memory.
