Earlier this month, United Structural Systems (USS) donated the manpower, time, and resources necessary to repair the front left quadrant of the Veterans Memorial of Pleasant View located in Pleasant View Community Park. The area had been holding water and mud, making it an “eye-sore,” according to George Leasure, Pleasant View Alderman and driving force behind the memorial.
When the Pleasant View-based business was approached to see about helping, they promptly came to assess the situation and immediately offered to help.
“At USS, we are fortunate to have several team members who have served in the military. The veterans memorial project is just a small way we can show our appreciation for the sacrifice our veterans have made for our country and our freedom,” says Rob Myers, general manager of USS.
