State Representative Mary Littleton to Jointly Host First Rural Broadband Forum with Cheatham County Chamber on August 28th

 

Public Invited to Hear from Internet Providers, Broadband Service Experts, and State Economic Development Officials on the Future of Broadband Data Access in Cheatham County

 

WHO:  State Representative Mary Littleton (R- Dickson)

            Misty Keenan, Executive Director, Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce

            Darrell Gillespie, General Manager, Dickson Electric System

            May Lingner, Director, Cheaham County Public Library

            Senior Representatives from the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, AT&T, Comcast, and Charter Communications

 

WHAT:  A public forum jointly hosted by Rep. Littleton and the Cheatham County Chamber of   Commerce with presentations from AT&T, Comcast, Charter Communications, and the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development on current and future plans for rural high-speed data access

 

WHERE:  Cheatham County Public Library, 188 John Mayfield Drive, Ashland City, TN

 

WHEN:  6:00 – 7:30 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 

 

WHY:  With the rapidly growing demand for reliable access to high-speed internet and broadband data services, the Cheatham County Rural Broadband Forum will explore current internet service options available to our county’s rural residents and engage attendees in a public discussion about future plans for expanding and improving internet accessibility.  The event is free and open to the public.
