Mason Nicholson of Pleasant View reeled in a 9.91-pound bass during the 2018 Ranger Aluminum Cup on Saturday, April 29. Nicholson’s bass, caught on the south end of Kentucky Lake before 9 AM, beat the previously-held record by nearly three pounds.
