As the result of a 7 to 5 vote at tonight’s Cheatham County Commission meeting, the decision was made to purchase the $1.4 million-dollar Leeland Station area to be used for a new justice center and school bus/highway department garage.
Close to 100 people filled the courtroom, awaiting the outcome of the controversial decision. While many spoke out against the purchase of the scenic property, just a few spoke in favor.
