Local Singer to Audition for 'America's Got Talent'

No stranger to the stage, Pleasant View resident and powerhouse singer, Brandon Lee Waugh, will be putting his skills to the test and his dreams on the line when he auditions for "America’s Got Talent" this Saturday in Nashville.

The 22-year old talented vocalist says it will be a “dream come true” to win-out the popular show that airs on NBC. Waugh will be singing "Don't Close your Eyes," by Keith Whitley and "In Case You Didn't Know," by Brett Young.

Singing for as long as he has been able to talk, Waugh loves to use his voice to express himself in ways that cannot often be put into words. “Music has always been there for me when I could not find my own words,” he says, passionately.

With a career in the industry seemingly blooming on the horizon, Waugh will also be competing/performing in front of 80 of the world’s largest talent scouts located in Los Angeles, California in July. As one of only 150 candidates chosen from across the nation, Waugh will have an opportunity to showcase his many talents which include modeling, acting and of course, singing.

Stay tuned for more on Waugh's journey to stardom...
