Stars and Bars Already Brewing Success

After much hard work, planning, and anticipation, the doors to Pleasant View resident Josh Romaker’s brewery, Stars and Bars Brewing Co., opened on October 21. The Clarksville-based brewery played host to well over 400 adults and children during the family-friendly event that offered live music, face painting, food trucks, and of course… beer.

“The grand opening was great with even more people arriving than expected. The laid-back atmosphere allowed both friends and families to enjoy an evening out,” said Romaker, who will retire next year after serving 22 years in the US Army and begin a new journey in brewery ownership.

Conveniently centered between Old Glory Distillery and Beachaven Vineyards on Progress Drive, the unapologetically patriotic and upscale microbrewery will keep their top-selling Oaked Bourbon Ale on tap and brew small-batch specialty beers each week.

Committed to maintaining a family-oriented, community-minded brewery atmosphere, Stars and Bars also has homemade frontier root beer on tap and board games for entertainment.

The next event with music and food truck(s) will be Veterans Day, November 11, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM to celebrate past and present service members.
