Local Pediatrician Office Goes the Extra Mile on Halloween

Everyone at Grace dresses up for Halloween

Fevers, boo-boo’s, and even the sorest of throats were made a little bit better yesterday with a touch of Halloween magic at Grace Pediatrics in Pleasant View. In keeping with their annual tradition, the esteemed local clinic was transformed into a scene from the Disney’s Descendants 2 movie.

What started as a competition between the three Grace Pediatrics offices (Pleasant View, Spring Hill, and Smyrna) in 2015, has quickly become a local Halloween tradition that leaves patients and parents talking.

Under the direction of Crystal Brown, the clinic’s certified allergy specialist, the Grace team worked for months to top last year’s competition-winning Wizard of Oz theme.

“She is our mastermind,” says Emily Harvison, the clinic’s nurse practitioner, of Brown.

The fun was not limited to the detailed and creative decorating, either. Trick-or-Treating stations were set up throughout the office and the team, elaborately dressing their parts, choreographed a “Flash Mob” dance routine for fans to enjoy on Facebook.

While they have not yet decided on a theme for next year, Harvison vows it will be even “bigger and better” than this year.
