Kiwanis Club of Cheatham County Installs New Officers

PLEASANT VIEW, TN – Jeff Bennett of Ashland City was installed as President of the Kiwanis Club of Cheatham County during the club’s installation banquet on Thursday, September 21, at the home of Wally and Martha Kirby in Pleasant View, TN. Also installed were President-Elect Patrick Smith, Vice President Tony Young, Treasurer Larry Roberts and Secretary Betty Broz. 

 

In addition, the following members will serve on the club’s board of directors: 

  • Carol Coats

  • Martha Kirby

  • Janet Knight

  • Mary Littleton

  • Chris Reuhland

 

The immediate past president is Marc Coulon. He will continue to serve on the club board for the next year.

 

Recent club activities have included such projects as the Mid-TN 5k in Ashland City, which raises funds and awareness for Cheatham County Imagination Library. The club also collaborates with Mid Cumberland Head Start to provide Christmas gifts for students in Cheatham County. 

 

The Kiwanis Club of Cheatham County, welcomes new members who want to serve their community. Information about becoming a member is available at their regular monthly meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays at noon at Pinnacle Bank in Ashland City.
