Two of the three Pleasant View Eagles teams boasted wins to start their season on August 26. The Eagles, who hosted the White Bluff Bombers, dominated the out-of-league games. The A Division (5/6/7) won 40-12; the AA Division (8/9) won 40-19; and the AAA Division (10/11) fell to the Bombers, 13-7.
On Sunday, August 27, the AA Division Eagles had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play during the Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears pre-season game at Nissan Stadium. The Eagles took the field with the Antioch Ravens for approximately six minutes. Although no official score was kept, each team found their way into the end zone.
After a Labor Day weekend bye, the Eagles will travel to White House on September 9.
